Steely Dan - Adopted and Settled in his new home!

Centerpoint Cavvy is pleased and  excited to announce that Steely Danhas been adopted. Steely Dan came to us in April 2018 with various issues. Through the work of a wonderful training, excellent facilities and those who have donated and supported CCT, this dream of getting our one of our first rescues adopted has been realized.

We would like to thank Trainer Nichole Malin-Smithfor her training and rehabilitation riding which was instrumental in getting Steely Dan ready for adoption. We also would like to thank Gretchen and Don Baxter of Roscoe IL, who provided excellent care and training over the last few months.

He was delivered on Saturday June 8th to his new owner/trainer, Heidi Wilson, at Driftwood Farms Inc. in McHenry. He settled into his new stall very quickly and already made friends with his new stall neighbor. He loved the big window in his new stall (see picture). We will check in on his progress periodically and provide updates.
