NELLY IS READY TO BE ADOPTED - BUT SHE STILL NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT.
Nelly - Nelly came to us almost 2 years ago. Nelly was dealing with a bowed left front tendon and a swollen left hind leg. Work involved massaging the bowed tendon, cold hosing the hind leg, as well as wrapping the legs. Additionally, Nelly’s confidence suffered due to the injury and she needed help to strengthen her legs. We moved her to Driftwood Farms in McHenry, which allowed volunteer, Ruthanne, to dedicate her time to help Nelly heal and rebuild her confidence.
Nelly has come a long way and it is wonderful to see how she has regained her playfulness and the sparkle in her eye has returned.
We still need your donations!
Keeping her at a different facility means we must pay board as well as the additional vet bills to get Nelly back on her feet and ready for adoption!
Our First Rescue Success!

Steely Dan was one of our first horses rescued. Centerpoint Cavvy is pleased and excited to announce that Steely Dan has been adopted. Steely Dan came to us in April 2018 with various issues. Through the work of a wonderful trainer, excellent facilities and those who have donated and supported CCTR, this dream of getting one of our first rescues adopted has been realized.

Rehabbing an injured horse takes time and money. Kenny would not be where he is without all the special therapies and care. A special thanks to Catherine Manno, DVM MS for all her help with the cyst inside Kenny’s cannon bone which made him lame. Because of this aqua therapy, Kenny is happy to have a rider, and is pleased to trot and canter once again. He is learning dressage to help continue to strength training.
CORONIA VIRUS has delayed Kenny’s move to his new forever home, but we still need your donations to keep him at his barn until we can safely move him.
